Jeanette J. Epps was selected by NASA in 2009 as an astronaut. She has been assigned to her first spaceflight, Expedition 56/57, scheduled to launch in May 2018. Her training included scientific and technical briefings, intensive instruction in International Space Station systems, spacewalk training, robotics, T-38 flight training and wilderness survival training. The New York native was a NASA Fellow during graduate school and authored several journal and conference articles describing her research. Dr. Epps worked for Ford Motor Company where she received both a provisional patent and a U.S. patent for her research. After leaving Ford, she joined the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for seven years working as a Technical Intelligence Officer before becoming an astronaut. She currently serves in the ISS Operations Branch working issues in support of space station crews.

Mr. Álvarez-Pallete has a degree in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid. He also studied Economics at the Université Libre of Brussels (Belgium), holds an International Management Programme (IMP) from IPADE Business School and an Advance Research Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. In February 1999 he joined the Telefónica Group as Chief Financial Officer of Telefónica Internacional S.A.U., and in September of the same year he became Chief Financial Officer of Telefónica S.A. In July 2002, he was appointed Executive Chairman of Telefónica Internacional S.A.; in July 2006, General Manager of Telefónica Latinoamérica, and in March 2009 Chairman of Telefónica Latinoamérica. In September 2011 he was named Executive Chairman of Telefónica Europe. And in September 2012 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Telefónica S.A. Since April 8th 2016 he is Chairman & CEO of Telefónica S.A. and Member of the Board of Telefónica S.A., position he holds since July 2006.

He has led national and international projects on creative and cultural education in the UK, Europe, Asia and the United States. The embodiment of the prestigious TED Conference and its commitment to spreading new ideas, Sir Ken Robinson is the most watched speaker in TED’s history. His 2006 talk, “Do Schools Kill Creativity” has been viewed online over 40 million times and seen by an estimated 350 million people in 160 countries. For twelve years, he was professor of arts education at the University of Warwick in the UK and is now professor emeritus. In 1999, he led a national commission on creativity, education and the economy for the UK Government. All Our Futures: Creativity, Culture and Education (The Robinson Report) was published to wide acclaim.

Henry Chesbrough is the originator of the term “open innovation,” which has grown to become one of the most influential theories of modern business. He first coined the term in his award-winning book Open Innovation: The New Imperative for Creating and Profiting from Technology (2003), and has extended it in Open Business Models: How to Thrive in the New Innovation Landscape (2006) and Open Services Innovation: Rethinking Your Business to Grow and Compete in a New Era (2011). He is Faculty Director of the Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation at the University of California – Berkeley, and a Professor at ESADE Business School in Barcelona. Niklas Zennström is CEO and Founding Partner at Atomico. Michal and team are driving the Microsoft security strategy and innovation. Prior to her promotion, Michal was the Azure Cybersecurity GM where among other achievements, she initiated and managed Azure Security Center, Microsoft's leading hybrid security SaaS. She is a world-class expert in Cyber Security and a renowned speaker. Prior to joining Microsoft in November 2013, Michal worked at RSA/EMC (now Dell). Michal came to RSA via the Cyota acquisition in 2006. Following the acquisition, she became the GM of RSA Israel and the global leader of the Cyber Fraud and Risk Analytics product line.
