I taught high school math in Boston Public Schools. It was an amazing experience. At the time, the World Wide Web as we know it was growing rapidly, but was fairly new to students and teachers. For the majority of my students, math was something that they "had to do," and not something that piqued their interest. I couldn't blame them. The challenges that they faced daily made me feel like I grew up in Eutopia. In reflecting upon their experiences, it was clear that I did. Despite this gap between school and home and the chasm between what they were being tested on and what they understood, when I integrated technology into class lessons something happened. Students who acted out focused; students whose heads were buried in their desks came up for air. It was clear that student engagement was the first step to making math matter.

My skills are mostly focused into very fast product creation and iteration, metrics, sales, marketing, etc. I have started and organized communities for entrepreneurs and hackers like the Super Happy Dev House in Mexico City, the Hackspedition and Startup Weekend, I have facilitated, organized or otherwise taken a key role in events that have impacted and inspired more than 10 000 people in the last couple of years.

By founding my company, running product for a disruptive Bay Area startup or leading Operations and Engineering for a global service organization, I acquired the breadth of experience to find the common denominators to making businesses successful. I’m a problem-solver by nature. I help rapidly scaling early-stage startups craft their Business models, Revenue Streams, Product Strategy, User Experience and Data Science approaches. I also help middle market and scrappy startups generate new product strategies for significant, sustainable growth. I focus on marketplaces, AI/ML, AdTech, emerging tech and companies addressing complex social challenges. I now manage companies in difficulties and resolve problems with product-centric solutions ranging from product management, technology road mapping, and user experience lead by the strength of branding and data science. If it is challenging and meaningful work that requires both an understanding of technology and business skills.

I spent years trying to find how to match my interest in social and behavioural economics with information technologies and the corporate world. I've been through different projects, from a HQ of big organization in Geneva, to a small NGO in Chile. I learned how much I love traveling while getting a multicultural sense in every project. What interests me the most, is analysing behaviour and developing a response to the question of why we consume things. Is it just about getting an instrument to fulfill a need? What about self-presentation? What about the distortion in my perception of a brand´s quality?
