Jeanette J. Epps was selected by NASA in 2009 as an astronaut. She has been assigned to her first spaceflight, Expedition 56/57, scheduled to launch in May 2018. Her training included scientific and technical briefings, intensive instruction in International Space Station systems, spacewalk training, robotics, T-38 flight training and wilderness survival training. The New York native was a NASA Fellow during graduate school and authored several journal and conference articles describing her research. Dr. Epps worked for Ford Motor Company where she received both a provisional patent and a U.S. patent for her research. After leaving Ford, she joined the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for seven years working as a Technical Intelligence Officer before becoming an astronaut. She currently serves in the ISS Operations Branch working issues in support of space station crews.

Prior to her promotion, Michal was the Azure Cybersecurity GM where among other achievements, she initiated and managed Azure Security Center, Microsoft's leading hybrid security SaaS. She is a world-class expert in Cyber Security and a renowned speaker. Prior to joining Microsoft in November 2013, Michal worked at RSA/EMC (now Dell). Michal came to RSA via the Cyota acquisition in 2006. Following the acquisition, she became the GM of RSA Israel and the global leader of the Cyber Fraud and Risk Analytics product line. Under Michal’s leadership, the revenues of the Fraud and Risk Analytics product line grew 20-fold (to over $200M) and the number of protected users worldwide reached 300M. Michal was later appointed as the GM of RSA Global Solutions and was tasked with business-driven innovation. At Cyota, an innovative Cyber startup, Michal served as the COO, leading the R&D, product management and the Anti-Fraud array of services.

Martin is Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Prelude, who has founded seven companies in the USA and Europe in the past 25 years, all of which are based on new technologies that he identified in their infancy and helped grow. Varsavsky has applied this same approach in creating Prelude, a comprehensive fertility company focused on providing proactive fertility care to improve people’s chances of having healthy babies when they’re ready. The company was established to give men and women more reproductive choices and control over their biological clocks using The Prelude Method. In the 1990s, he built Viatel, which became the first pan-European fiber optic network, followed by Jazztel, which did in Spain what Viatel did throughout Europe. When Varsavsky exited Viatel the company was worth $1.2B and when he exited Jazztel it was worth $770M. In the early 2000s he built Ya.com, the second largest Spanish-language internet portal with an investment of $28M, which was sold to Deutsche Telekom for $650M.

Shotwell is a member of the SpaceX Board of Directors. Prior to joining SpaceX, Shotwell spent more than 10 years at the Aerospace Corporation. There she held positions in Space Systems Engineering & Technology as well as Project Management. She was promoted to the role of Chief Engineer of an MLV-class satellite program, managed a landmark study for the Federal Aviation Administration on commercial space transportation, and completed an extensive analysis of space policy for NASA’s future investment in space transportation.

Her recent book is Peers Inc: How People and Platforms are Inventing the Collaborative Economy and Reinventing Capitalism. Chase has has received many awards in the areas of innovation, design, and environment, including TIME 100 Most Influential People, Fast Company Fast 50 Innovators, and BusinessWeek Top 10 Designers. Robin graduated from Wellesley College and MIT's Sloan School of Management, was a Harvard University Loeb Fellow, and received an honorary Doctorate of Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

After a series of successful startups,he founded Autonomy in 1996 based on technology invented at Cambridge University, where Dr Lynch studied Information Sciences and received a Ph.D. in adaptive pattern recognition.Autonomy became one of the UK's most successful technology companies on the FTSE100 and was acquired by HP for $11 billion in 2011. Mike has been recognized with many awards, including an OBE for Services to Enterprise in 2006. He is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, an honorary fellow of Christ's College Cambridge and a non-executive director of the British Library. He is also a scientific advisor to the UK Prime Minister. Mike will be participating in the Deep Tech track run in collaboration with Adara Ventures.

Born in Madrid in 1970, Alejandro Agag enjoyed an international upbringing in Madrid, Paris and New York - gaining fluency in English, Spanish, French and Italian. After graduating from university he moved into politics, quickly establishing himself and becoming the personal assistant to the Spanish Prime Minister. In 1999, he won a seat in the European Parliament at the age of 28, becoming the youngest Spanish person ever to do so. In 2001, he decided to leave the world of politics and move into motorsport - where together with his business partner Flavio Briatore, they purchased the F1 TV rights in Spain. A few years later Agag purchased the Campos Racing GP2 Team, revamping it into the highly-successful Barwa Addax Team. After investing in the English football club Queens Park Rangers, Agag, together with business partner Enrique Banuelos, began Formula E Holdings - winning the tender to promote the new FIA Formula E Championship, the world’s first fully-electric single-seater racing series.

Sanjay Sarma is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at MIT and Vice President for Open Learning at the Institute. He overseas OpenCourseWare, MITx, MicroMasters, the new MIT Integrated Learning Initiative and the World Education Lab at MIT. As a researcher, he founded the Auto-ID Center at MIT and developed many of the key technologies behind the EPC suite of RFID standards now used worldwide. He was also the the founder and CTO of OATSystems, which was acquired by Checkpoint Systems (NYSE: CKP) in 2008. He several on the boards of GS1, EPCglobal and several startup companies including Top Flight Technologies. Dr. Sarma received his Bachelors from the Indian Institute of Technology, his Masters from Carnegie Mellon University and his PhD from the University of California at Berkeley. Sarma also worked at Schlumberger Oilfield Services in Aberdeen, UK, and at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratories in Berkeley, California.
