When and where will South Summit Brazil be held?

The third edition of the event will take place on March 20, 21 and 22, 2024 at the warehouses of Cais Mauá (Av. Presidente João Goulart, 97 – Historic Center), near Usina do Gasômetro and at Cais Embarcadero – Leisure and Gastronomy complex located in this noble area of Porto Alegre with a splendid view.

What are the times of the event?

About the compulsory use of credentials and wristbands during the event

To access the event, it is mandatory to use, during the three days, the credential and wristband (once placed on the wrist it cannot be removed) provided by the organization at the time of accreditation.

About the official app of the event

The official app is available on iOS and Android platforms. Search for «South Summit» in the Apple Store, Google Play. You can also access the desktop version.

The app is an essential tool for you to enjoy all the possibilities and resources that South Summit Brazil provides: it allows you to consolidate and enhance connections, in addition to being a source for all key information about the event.

After purchasing your ticket and completing your registration, you will receive an email with instructions for downloading the application, and there you will find the QR Code to pick up your credential and wristband. In the app you will also find the schedule, the event map, the 1:1 meeting agenda, the profiles of speakers, partners, finalist startups, all event participants, simultaneous translation on Arena Stage, The Next Big Thing, Growth and Explore, as well as a manual with more detailed information on each feature and a chat room for any questions.

What is the age rating of the event?

The age classification of the event is free. Up to 12 years old, authorization from the guardian must be attached when registering/purchasing tickets. To purchase tickets through the platform, the minimum age is 15 years.

Is there a day pass ticket?

The ticket grants access to the three days of the event. Important: it is mandatory to use, during the three days of the event, the credential and wristband provided by the organization at the time of registration.

Tickets will be sold at Cais Mauá?

No. Sales are made exclusively through the official website.

What forms of payment are accepted on the site?

PIX or Credit or Debit Card (via PagSeguro/Stripe).

My purchase was denied transaction, what should I do?

Eventually transactions can be barred by anti-fraud rules or issues related to the limit of your card. In this case, you should talk to the bank issuing your card. You can check the payment status on this page.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Tickets cancellation may occur under the terms of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (CDC), within seven days after purchase. Cancellation requests cannot be made 48 hours before the event. Cancellation must be requested by you by sending an email to: info@southsummitbrazil.com. If you do not use the ticket for the event, you will not be able to request cancellation or refund after the event. The cancellation request cannot be made partially, referring to just a few days. Therefore, the request will cancel participation on all days of the event.

What is the refund term?

After cancellation, the ticket price will be refunded, as long as it has been requested within seven days of purchase and before 48 hours of the event. The ticket price will be refunded as follows:

– Purchases made using credit cards will be refunded through chargeback or refund of the amount on the following month’s invoice, according to the credit card administrator’s procedures.

– Purchases made using debit cards and PIX will be reimbursed via chargeback via PIX, within seven days.

Can I transfer my application?

No. Registration is individual and non-transferable.

How do I change my ticket category?

4 – Select the new ticket category
5 – Click on save
6 – Pay the price difference
7 – Download the official event app to access your QR CODE or visit our website.

Can I request an invoice for my ticket?

You will already have the receipt automatically created in the system as soon as the payment is made, but you can request an invoice, if necessary, by email info@southsummitbrazil.com. It will be sent by the 10th of the month following the request.

How to make the invoice in the name of my company?

When you are registering, the question “Do I want to issue a receipt on behalf of a company/other person?” will appear. If so, fill in these fields with the requested data to have the receipt in the name of the company.

What should I do if I lose my credential or wristband?

If you lose your access credential or wristband, you can request a replacement from the event staff for a fee of R$ 50.00 (fifty Brazilian reais) for each item.
