José María Palomares serves as Subdirector General of Business Development, Marketing and Comms and member of the Executive Committee of Mutualidad de la Abogacía, a financial life-insurance company that ranks #6 in Spain by volume of managed savings (more than € 8,500 millions). His responsibilities ranges from the company’s revenue growth to the customer experience, the brand positioning, the stakeholders enagement or the responsible business, among others. Member of the Advisory Board of Multinacionales por Marca España (Business Association of Foreign Multinational Companies in Spain) and Instituto de Gobernanza Empresarial. Member of Instituto de Consejeros-Administradores. From 2019 to 2021, he served as Director General of Fundación Mutualidad de la Abogacía. From 2018 to 2019 he led Multinacionales por Marca España as Chairman of the Board. Previously he had played different senior executive positions in multinational companies as Telefónica, ING and Laureate International Universities. Lecturer and speaker on Corporate Governance, Public Affairs, Reputation, Customer Experience, Digital Communications, Sustainability and Public Speaking. He collaborates regularly with IE Business School, ESIC Business & Marketing School, Instituto Gobernanza Empresarial and Universidad Europea.
