We are looking for the best International Communications Manager!!  

Passionate about innovation and the startup world, our candidate must be willing to accept challenges and think out of the box to take South Summit to the next level worldwide. Here is the role description:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The International Communications Manager will be responsible for defining the Communications strategy for both internal and external

communications, and Partner communications.  He/she will create and execute the PR & social media strategy to strengthen the South

Summit brand worldwide. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

o   Define and implement the Global Communication strategy and action plan for Spain Startup and specifically South Summit event.

o   Specifically define and implement the Digital Communication strategy including management of Social Media accounts and Email communications. 

o   Develop and execute a PR strategy, strengthening relations with international and national media representatives, creating new media partnerships, and actively monitor relevant media.

o   Create and curate adequate communication material for different purposes as reports, blogs, newsletters, website updates, press releases; and help develop other internal and external communication material needed such as corporate presentations or brochures.

o   Identify and help articulate the company's positioning for key products and services.

o   Identify opportunities and events to build the South Summit brand (attend press conferences and networking events)

o   Develop and manage the Communications budget, including measurable targets, KPIs and evaluation of activities.

o   Guide team members in all communication activities and public relations, creating adequate spokespersons on behalf of the company.

o   Manage and coordinate internal communications.

o   Manage external agencies and collaborators.

 

 CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

o   6+years internal and external communications experience in an international environment (min of 2 years as a manager).

o   Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for a variety of audiences.Bilingüal level will be a plus.

o  Proven experience developing relations with partner organisations, media representatives and other external bodies at an international level.

o   Strong knowledge of the media channels on an international, regional and local level.

o   Strong advisory skills and confidence giving advice and information to senior managers.

o   An in-depth knowledge of web and print-based marketing material.
