When and where will the South Summit Brazil 2023 take place?

The event will be held on March 29, 30 and 31, 2023 in the historic warehouses of Cais Mauá, in the center of Porto Alegre-RS. Tickets are already on sale (click here).

The proposal of the South Summit Brazil contributes to the project of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul that invests in the revitalization of the Guaíba Waterfront, one of the main sights of the city. The place is close to the Usina do Gasômetro and Cais Embarcadero – complex of Leisure and Gastronomy located in this noble area of Porto Alegre with a splendid visual.

What are the opening hours of the event during the three days?

How do I participate in the 2023 Startup Competition?

What language will the contents of the event be presented in?

Presentations will be held primarily in English and Portuguese. There will be simultaneous ING/PORT translation on the stages Arena Stage and The Next Big Thing, which can be accessed by the official application of the event, Swapcard, available on Google Play and App Store.

What is the audience expectation?

The total audience is estimated at 20,000 people over the three days of the event.

Will there be online programming at South Summit Brazil 2023?

No. The program will be fully in place in the eight stages of content at Cais Mauá. Event participants will be able to listen to the lectures through the app for better audio convenience. There will be no online transmission of the event, either by link or app.

How do I access the event? Where do I get the QR Code?

Once you have purchased your ticket, you must use the QR Code available in the event’s app (Swapcard). You can access the app through the web ( by downloading it to your cell phone:

3 – Done! Your ticket/QR Code is available;  

 Note: it may take up to 30 minutes after purchasing the ticket for your QR Code to be available on the platform. 

Can I change the category of my ticket?

Yes, you can change your ticket to higher categories by selecting and paying the difference, subject to the availability of tickets on sale.

What forms of payment are accepted on the site?

PIX or Credit or Debit Card (via PagSeguro/Stripe).

My purchase was denied transaction, what should I do?

Eventually transactions can be barred by anti-fraud rules or issues related to the limit of your card. In this case, you should talk to the bank issuing your card.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Yes, according to the CDC (Consumer Protection Code), you may request cancellation within 7 days from the date of your purchase, provided that it does not exceed 48 hours before the event. Cancellation requests must be made by the owner of the purchase through the email

What is the refund term?

The refund will be made after the completion of your cancellation, and will be as follows:

Credit card: chargeback on the next invoice;

Debit card and PIX: chargeback will be via PIX, within 7 days

Please contact us by emailing asking for a refund stating your payment method and attaching your proof of payment.

Can I transfer my application?

No. Registration is individual and non-transferable.

 Can I request an invoice for my ticket?   

 A receipt will be automatically created in the system as soon as the payment is made, but you can request an invoice, if necessary, by email at 

How to make the invoice in the name of my company?

When you are registering, the question will appear “I want to issue invoice on behalf of a company/ another person?”. If so, fill in these fields with the data requested to have the invoice on behalf of the company.

I made the registration, can I participate one day and release my registration to someone else on the other days?

No. Tickets are nominal and ownership exchange is not allowed after check-in at the event.

Is there an online certificate?

Yes. Certificates will be available on the website after the event.
